Settlement outcomes of humanitarian youth and active citizenship: Research snapshot
This research snapshot, part of the Building a New Life in Australia study, focuses on young people aged 15–25 from humanitarian backgrounds and how they are settling into life in Australia. Drawing on longitudinal survey data, the authors explore three interconnected domains: economic participation (education, training and employment), social participation (friendships, community involvement and civic engagement) and personal wellbeing.
