Step by step application process
If you’re a training provider offering professional development opportunities for the community work profession, you can apply to have your training endorsed by Community Work Australia.

Review the criteria
Before applying, take time to review what we’re looking for in endorsed training. Each application is assessed against key quality indicators, including:
- The relevance of the training to professional practice in community work
- Clear, well-structured learning outcomes
- Trainer or presenter qualifications and experience

Prepare your application
Once you’re confident your training is a good fit, gather the required documentation. This includes:
- A detailed program or course outline
- Trainer or presenter CVs with two referees
- Promotional materials (if available) for use on our website and in email alerts.
Make sure your documents clearly outline the relevant training outcomes and target audience.
Submit your application
Use the online form to submit your application. The cost to apply is $250 per activity. A discount will apply if submitting more than three activities.
You’ll be asked to upload your documents as part of the application process.
Review and outcome
We’ll aim to assess your application within two to four weeks We’ll notify you of the outcome by email.
If your training is endorsed, you’ll gain:
- The permission to display the Community Work Australia Endorsed badge
- Inclusion on our endorsed training list and email updates
- Recognition as a provider of quality training.
