Understanding your application status
The best place to check your application status is your applicant portal. You can log in to the applicant portal at any time and check the status under ‘My Skills Assessments’. The possible statuses are:
- Draft: The application is in process, but has not been submitted with payment.
- Submitted: The application has been lodged and is being processed by the team, however, the assessment hasn't started yet.
- Documents Requested: The Assessment Officer is requesting missing documents from your application. This may delay the start of the assessment.
- In Progress: An Assessment Officer has been assigned to the application, and the formal assessment has commenced.
- Suitable or Not Suitable: This is the outcome you get after your skills assessment is complete. The outcome letter can be downloaded from the skills assessment portal.
Due to the current high volume of applications, the assessment team must focus on processing applications. The skills assessment team is not available via the phone and, if your query is not urgent, please refrain from emailing. Please visit the FAQs on our website, check the current processing times, and keep an eye on your emails for status changes or document requests.
If you need to update your contact details, email assessments@communitywork.org.au and include your Application ID in the subject line.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The Assessments Team is only available via email. Get in contact for any urgent issues, otherwise refer to our website.
- Email response time is 5 days. If you have lodged an application, you must include your Application ID in the subject line.
- Do not send multiple follow up emails or 'cc' multiple Community Work Australia accounts.
