The Bachelor of Human Services is a three-year full-time degree. Please note that this program is no longer accepting new admissions.

Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Apply understanding of causes of social disadvantage and uphold values of social justice, equity, inclusion, respect, ethical practice in local and global contexts.
  2. Demonstrate critical and creative thinking through synthesis of interdisciplinary strategies relevant to diverse fields of practice.
  3. Use effective written, oral and digital communication skills when working alongside individuals, groups and communities.
  4. Demonstrate ability to cultivate inclusive societies through development of mutually respectful relationships and utilisation of evidence-informed practice that draws upon research.
  5. Work autonomously and in teams to enable agency and voice of First Nations peoples, marginalised individuals and communities; foster cultural safety, health and wellbeing.
