The Bachelor of Human Services is a three-year full-time degree. Please note that this program is no longer accepting new admissions.
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
- Apply understanding of causes of social disadvantage and uphold values of social justice, equity, inclusion, respect, ethical practice in local and global contexts.
- Demonstrate critical and creative thinking through synthesis of interdisciplinary strategies relevant to diverse fields of practice.
- Use effective written, oral and digital communication skills when working alongside individuals, groups and communities.
- Demonstrate ability to cultivate inclusive societies through development of mutually respectful relationships and utilisation of evidence-informed practice that draws upon research.
- Work autonomously and in teams to enable agency and voice of First Nations peoples, marginalised individuals and communities; foster cultural safety, health and wellbeing.
