2026 Suicide Prevention Summit (Online and On-Demand)
The 2026 Suicide Prevention Summit is an online professional development event bringing together leading experts from Australia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The summit will provide community work professionals and other mental health practitioners with evidence-based, culturally informed strategies, insights and practical tools for identifying and managing suicide risk.
Across 20 live webinar sessions, participants will explore topics including, but not limited to:
- Suicide prevention among children and young people
- Neurodiversity and suicide prevention
- Supporting veterans
- Men’s mental health and suicide prevention
- Emotional regulation
- Group-based brief cognitive behavioural therapy
- Ethics and duty of care in suicide support
- Story and identity in suicide prevention
- Artificial intelligence chatbots and suicide risk
- Current research and clinical approaches to suicidology
The live summit will run from Thursday 20 to Monday 24 August 2026. Sessions on 20 and 21 August will follow Australian Eastern Standard Time, while later sessions will align with United States Eastern Daylight Time and extend into 24 August in Australia.

Registration is free for participants attending the live sessions. A $20 registration option provides additional attendee benefits, including access to recordings of every webinar until Sunday 18 October 2026.
