Requesting a withdrawal and refund

The application fee for a skills assessment may be refunded in limited circumstances.

You may be eligible for a refund if you choose to withdraw your application and submit a written refund request before the assessment or service has commenced.

If your application status is ‘Submitted’, this means the assessment has not yet commenced. In this circumstance, Community Work Australia may consider your request to withdraw your application and refund the application fee. If the application is no longer marked as ‘Submitted’, or if a document check or other assessment activity has commenced, no refund will be issued.

If your refund request is approved, Community Work Australia will retain an AUD$80.00 service fee, which will be deducted from the total amount paid. The remaining balance will be refunded within four weeks of approval, to the person or organisation that originally paid the fee, using the same payment method.

To withdraw your application and request a refund, please contact Community Work Australia by emailing assessments@communitywork.org.au.

Applications cannot be withdrawn manually through the skills assessment portal.
