Understanding Domestic Violence e-Learning Course

Offered by Clinical Supervision Services (CSS).

This online course comprises 4 self-paced online study modules and is suitable for all health and welfare professionals who work with clients experiencing domestic violence, either incidentally or in an ongoing therapeutic setting, who want to deepen their understanding of this complex area.

Topics include: Dynamics of domestic violence; Impacts on adult and child victims; Understanding and responding to domestic violence; Ways of working effectively with adult victims to acknowledge strengths while appreciating risks.

The self-paced study modules including videos, reflective learning tasks and online readings. Participants will develop a solid foundation upon which to build more advanced therapeutic skills.
